CrossLoop is a free PC remote control utility which allows Data Perceptions support to see and, with your permission, control your computer. Working this way helps us provide you with better quality support!
If the Data Perceptions remote control software does not work for you then we recommend CrossLoop.
Here's what you will need to do to get started with CrossLoop.
Step 1: Download and Install CrossLoop
Navigate your browser to http://www.crossloop.com/ and click the download button:

Then follow the installation steps on the page which opens in your browser, and install the software.
Note: you will only have to do step 1 the first time you need CrossLoop!
Step 2: Launch CrossLoop
The first screen you see will invite you to open a CrossLoop account. YOU DO NOT NEED A CROSSLOOP ACCOUNT! You can click the 'Skip' button, highlighted in red and arrowed in this screenshot:

Step 3: Click the 'Share' tab and phone Data Perceptions
When you click the 'Share' tab a unique code will be generated, which you must provide to Data Perceptions.

Finally, click the green 'Connect' button. After a few seconds you will be asked whether to allow Data Perceptions to see your screen. Once you have agreed, Data Perceptions will be able to see your screen and take control if required.
Note: The first time you run CrossLoop your firewall may ask you for permission
to let CrossLoop communicate. This is perfectly normal and, of course, you
must say 'yes' to allow the communication between CrossLoop and the internet.
Also, if you are running Windows Vista, you will receive a UAC prompt to permit
CrossLoop to run. Again, if you want support you must allow it!
Step 4: Disconnect after your support session has finished
After you have finished your support session with Data Perceptions you can disconnect using the CrossLoop application. Thereafter, Data Perceptions connection with your computer is dropped and cannot be re-established until you next initiate a support session via Step 2 above.
